Day 9 - Coming Home

We came from Elizabethtown, KY today.  We got to White Hall around 4:30 and home around 7:00.

ABOUT THE TRIP

     Today we returned home from our 9 day Diamond Bus Tour to New York City.  We were in 9 states and rode over 2,800 mile by bus.  

     The bus was very nice, very comfortable, equipped with electrical connections and wi-fi.  Time passed quickly while playing Bingo, playing trivia games, story telling, telling about ourselves, singing, watching videos, snacking, visiting, and sleeping.

     We spent 8 nights in 4 very nice motels.  We were fed 6 very good evening meals in some very nice restaurants,

      It was a pleasure to travel with my family and with 43 other Christian people from 5 or 6 different churches. This meant that every morning began with prayer and also at other times.

     Our sponsors, Cadell and Joyce Welch, from the Family Church were great.  They had organized and planned everything really well.  Our bus driver, Dennis was also a great person to get to know.

     We were able to see many things that we had only seen on TV or heard about and were able to walk the streets of New York City for many hours as we have pictured for the past 8 days.

     It was a very good experience.
