Day 5 - South Dakota Tour

      We left the motel in Rapid City, SD and went a few miles to the Journey Learning Center.  It was another large museum with many interesting displays.

     Then we went on to Hill City, SD and toured the historic main street and had lunch there.
      Afterward we went to the Crazy Horse Memorial.  This was an "unbelievable place."  After seeing a short video about the history and walking through the very large visitor center for about two hours, we had a guided tour, on our
bus, to the base of the mountain.
     For supper we went to NAJA Shrine Center. Along with 3 other buses we had a good buffet meal with some entertainment.  Allen and Jill Kirkham sang western song for over an hour.
     Then we returned to the motel.
